Funding

ARC Taft is a vendor of Kern Regional Center and we are a 501c non-profit. Arc of Taft is funded through Kern Reginal Center, but receives much of its extra support from our generous community. We fund-raise throughout the year for additional activities, trips, and events our clients choose to participate. Every spring we host our annual barbecue/raffle fundraiser. The Arc BBQ has become a much loved community event. We have been know to serve 400 dinners with this one event. We also have music, door prizes, raffles, and a silent auction at the BBQ.

For additional support we have begun to rent our beautiful facilities. We have several different rental packages which could include: our complete kitchen, laundry room, 2 bathrooms, an luscious yard with covered patio area. We have a maximum indoor capacity of 125. Our facilities have been rented for bunco, wedding and baby showers, weddings, family reunions, senior pictures, and other community events.
